Disease and medical conditions can render clients unable to provide self-care or to continue living independently. For instance, many stroke victims suffer from paralysis, making it difficult or impossible for them to perform daily-living tasks. Our process begins with an evaluation of a client’s current condition and their future needs. Based on results, a restorative therapy plan is tailored to prevent clients from suffering further functional loss, while focusing on restoring them to their former state.

Horizon’s trained nurses and staff are well prepared to provide individualized care for restorative therapy clients. We focus on the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs and skills while helping our clients regain their previous independence.
